This picture shows the initial meeting between Francis de Sales and Jane Frances de Chantal in Dijon on 5th March 1604. In the
background one can see Archbishop André Fremyot. He is the brother of
Jane de Chantal. Because of his invitation Francis de Sales came to Dijon
for preaching Lent semons. |
