Robert K. Campbell Memorial

Lectureship on Christian Unity

Robert Campbell, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, was a man who was extremely supportive of community efforts through which the religious communities of the Lehigh Valley could put their energies and motivation to work in serving the needs of less fortunate and underprivileged people.

In his memory, the Committee on Ecumenism of the Lehigh County Conference of Churches has established this annual lectureship focusing specifically on Christian unity. This "ecumenical" lectureship is the only one of its kind in the Northeast part of the country.

Previous speakers in this lectureship include:

  • Leonid Kishkovsky (1994)
  • Gabriel Fackre (1995)
  • Paul Crow (1996)
