NEWSPAPERS

PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT

These are daily and weekly newspapers, including columnists & cartoonists, I read or scan regularly, on-line and/or in-print. Most newspapers now have on-line archives. You can search for articles, some substantive, some not, to use as resources for critical issue essays. Most will give you free access to printable full text, at least for a period of time. Just be sure to properly cite each source. Remember, each article is someone's intellectual property. And each author deserves full credit for her/his work.

They range over the entire world, mostly Anglophone

- from left-to-right, liberal-to-conservative, egalitarian-to-libertarian, . . . . .

- from secular-to-religious, classical-to-postmodern, philistine-to-elitist, . . . . .

just where an open, inquring mind should always be, whatever its "other" ultimate commitments.

And just in case, dear browser, you are inclined to open only the first link in the list, they are listed in alphabetical rotation. The then first last, the last now first. And don't be "provincial" - check out the "foreign" periodicals, especially, those from South Africa and the rest of the "southern" hemisphere. It will all be an economic powerhouse, rivalling both the USA & the European Union by the middle of the 21st Century! So get your offspring ready for the new global polity & economy.
