These are daily and weekly newspapers, including columnists & cartoonists, I read or scan regularly, on-line and/or in-print. Most newspapers now have on-line archives. You can search for articles, some substantive, some not, to use as resources for critical issue essays. Most will give you free access to printable full text, at least for a period of time. Just be sure to properly cite each source. Remember, each article is someone's intellectual property. And each author deserves full credit for her/his work.

And don't be "provincial" - check out the "foreign" periodicals, especially, those from South Africa and the rest of the "southern" hemisphere. It will all be an economic powerhouse, rivalling both the USA & the European Union by the middle of the 21st Century! So get your offspring ready for the new global polity & economy.
