IT532 - SYSTEMS ANALYSIS - CLASS 2
We look at the information needs of managers and executives to
gain some idea of the types of problems they solve and the
characteristics of their decision making.
- Strategic Planning (Strategic)
Determines the long term purpose and goals of the organization,
the resources needed to obtain the goals, and the policies and
quidelines needed to govern the acquisition, use, and
disposition of thoses resources.
- Management Control (Tactical)
Ensures that resources are obtained and used effectively and
efficiently in the accomplishment of the organization's
medium term goals.
Defines standards for operational control.
- Operational Control (Operational)
Monitors various work groups to ensure that specific tasks are
performed according to accepted standard of quality and
