DONORS

Contributions to the work of the Salesian Center can be made in two ways:

through annual fund donations (by which the Center's endowment grows)

through named giving opportunities (by which specific programs are funded)

Several opportunities exist for providing contributions through named gifts.  Interest drawn from these specially-designated funds will ensure that the programs and activities listed below remain as on-going events in the life of the Salesian Center.  Benefactors whose gifts and pledges meet funding levels become supporting members of the Salesian Center and have their names permanently associated with our work.

Master Class Initiative $150,000 to support a special topics learning experience in which visiting experts (scholars and/or practitioners) conduct a two-week seminar for students and also offer a major lecture in their area of expertise to the general public
Salesian Scholars Seminar $100,000 to support hosting internationally known experts in Salesian Spirituality for a discussion of ongoing research
The Baranzano Society
on Bioethics
$75,000 to support the annual dialogue series on Science and Religion in the field of bioethics  (link)
Religion in Research $75,000 to support scholarly research projects by University faculty and/or students that explore the link between faith and culture in various areas of study (link)
Faith on Stage $50,000 to support the writing and/or staging of theatrical productions that deal with religious themes

$50,000 to support the annual production of an electronic journal that reflects the interests and works of the Salesian Center (link)
"Morality Matters" $25,000 to support the administration of a semi-annual survey/polling process to assess public opinion on ethical issues being debated in the political realm
The Center Valley Forum $25,000 to support a campus-wide discussion series on ethical debates about matters of national concern  (link)
