Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI:
Keepers of the Faith

The death of Pope John Paul II and the election of Pope Benedict XVI are the subject of Susan's newest book, a title in the Franklin Watts' Great Life Stories Series. Pope John Paul II was a fascinatingly complex man whose impact on the world went far beyond that of other recent popes. This is the story of his life and that of his successor. It is also the story of conflict in the Catholic Church and a look at the issues that Pope Benedict XVI will have to face.
