Faith & Reason Honors Program
"Conversations about Truth"
LS 4005 - Spring 2009
This seminar considers the sense of human life in a world of apparent meaninglessness. Through discussion of a thought-provoking philosophical text, students will ponder the possibility that truth exists (in contrast to skepticism) and that it can be objectively known and demonstrated (in contrast to relativism).
The faculty facilitator for this seminar is Gregory Kerr, Ph.D. (Associate Professor of Philosophy).
The seminar meets on TUESDAY mornings, from 8:00 to 8:50 AM.
The primary text for the seminar is:
C.S. Lewis
Miracles
Harper SanFrancisco, 2001.
